Homemade Chocolate Peanut Butter Energy Bites
Ingredients
1 cup rolled oats¼ cup flaxseed
¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
½ cup peanut butter
⅓ cup maple syrup or honey
4 Medjool dates, pitted
1 tsp vanilla extract
½ cup chocolate chips, optional
Directions
Combine all ingredients, except chocolate chips, in a food processor or high powered blender. Process ingredients until well incorporated.
Add a splash of milk if it’s too dry or add a dash of oats if it’s too wet. Mixture should stay together when pressed.
Stir in chocolate chips and roll into bite sized balls. Chill in the fridge for 20 minutes. Enjoy a tasty energy bite whenever you feel a craving for sweets.
