Important Information about Knockoffs

It has come to our attention that numerous websites have popped up purporting to sell Zip Top® containers, sometimes at a significant discount. Sadly, we've learned from other creators that this is common following successful crowd funding campaigns. Many of these sites only exist to steal credit card information. Others are selling cheap and unsafe knockoffs of our product.

These counterfeit sites and products are particularly deceptive because they have stolen our copyrighted videos, images, and content as well as are claiming to make and sell our patent-pending product designs. These sites advertise aggressively on Facebook and Instagram and promote significant discounts and immediate shipments.

Our attorneys are vigorously pursuing each violation of our intellectual property, but since it is relatively easy to spin up a new website, it is likely that new ones will continue to appear.

Only Purchase from our Official Zip Top Website or select retailers

Rest assured that the only ways to purchase authentic Zip Top® containers are either from this official company website, ZipTop.com, from our official Zip Top Amazon Store, from our New Zealand Zip Top Website, from select retailers such as Target in the United States (use our handy store locator), and in Canada from Amazon.ca. Any site (including non-official items on Amazon) claiming to sell Zip Top containers are, very likely, selling counterfeit knockoffs.

What to do if you have been a victim?

If you are concerned that you have been scammed, you can send your order confirmation to support@ziptop.com and we can verify if your order is authentic. If you have been scammed, we encourage you to dispute the charges with your credit card company or PayPal. We have received reports from others who were victims of these sites that they have had success getting their money back by disputing the charge.

Your help is vital to shutting these scam sites down

Our intellectual property team has successfully shut down many of these sites!  The efforts to shut them down are helped in large measure by you, our loyal backers, who reported their deceptive ads to us, to Facebook and to other platforms.

If you see scam sites or questionable knockoffs being sold, let us know by sending an email to support@ziptop.com and we will investigate. We will fight to protect our intellectual property and to protect our loyal supporters from being scammed by such unethical and often illegal activity.
